Existe uma explicação antropológica para esta atitude de "pessoas de bem" dedicarem qualquer conquista pra família, pra prefeito, pra irmão, pra cachorro e para deus. A gênese deste pensamento esta nas origens da formação da sociedade dos humanos: os clãs de famílias.
Pela visão dos clãs, tudo é permitido contra o outro clã afinal são concorrentes pela comida e pelo território. Os conceitos de empatia pelo próximo, pela socialização vai acontecer dentro do grupo e dentro do grupo é praticada as origens da cidadania.
Para estes cidadãos comuns que estão ai e gostam de aparecer como dotô da cidade, seus valores ainda estão lá nos clãs primitivos. Dentro do clã são "homens de bem" mas fora do clã se comportam como selvagens. Corrompem, matam, mentem, chantageiam e são desleais. É um comendo o outro e deste botim o que sobra são os "vencedores", os espertos, e os "vencidos", os trouxas que servem aos vencedores. É por isso que ontem eles votaram contra um impedimento que não sabiam nem a grafia correta, falaram contra corrupção, sobre Deus, mas no dia a dia comportam-se como selvagens disputando o botim da caça.
Resumindo, esta classe média, que está ai, age como selvagens na verdadeira acepção da palavra. Valorizam a família, o amor ao filho, o heroísmo em casa, mas de civilizados nada têm. O (res) público ainda é uma abstração em seu comportamento social, algo para fanáticos e para pessoas loucas. É um termo abstrato tanto quanto amar ao próximo ou poder perceber na humanidade como uma grande família.
